Tianjin Youngster Art Troupe is an art society composed by pupils and young students. Now we are taking active part on the stage of Tianjin.
The troupe consists of chorus, dancing group, orchestra, children's drama, Kung-Fu performance, etc. We take the responsibility to develop children's art potential, thrive the art creation for children, enrich children's spiritual life, make international art & culture exchange and cooperation as well as furnish the qualified persons to professional art troupes and institutes.
Tianjin Youngster Art Troupe now has more than 300 members with an average age of 10.3 years old. The troupe is specialized in creating and performing popular youth vocal & dancing program and has won a lot of prize in international & local art competitions. For example, the dance "Children in Costumes from Tang Dynasty", "Sky Full of Color Clouds", music and dance mix-up "Peppy Frogs", children's drama " Story of Summer" won the gold medal in national contests. The members, Meng Xianyu, Julei, Liangohen, obtained 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal in 2001 international Hung-Fu match; Singer Zhangli achieved the gold medal in 1998 Portugal World Children's Singing Competition. In 2000, Tianjin Youngster Art Troupe was honored as China "Hand in Hand" Youngster Art Troupe Tianjin sub-group.
Tianjin Youngster Art Troupe is frequently invited to participate in various types of ceremonies and public welfare activities. We took part in the performance of opening ceremony of 4 43th World Table Tennis Championships held in 1995 and 1999 World Gymnastic Championships held in Tianjin. Our performance was highly praised by Country Leaders and foreign guests.
Out troupe had been invited to visit more than 10 countries throughout Europe, Asia and Australia. We also have experience of more than 100 remarkable performances for oversea groups visiting China. The marvelous performances by the children members have been given excellent comments by the audience. In order to attend "The Wolf Trap International Children's Festival", we are making a good preparation. We hope to show our traditional culture and long history to American audiences. Therefore, we are going to play splendid Chinese Kung-Fu, lively children dance and original American folk song. We are also going to perform some wonderful short drama with music and dance which material is drawn from Ancient fable story.
We would like to bring the good wish of children from China to the children from worldwide through "The Wolf Trap International Children Festival". Meanwhile, we are expecting a successful holding of the Festival.
