2008 年中文演讲比赛
一年一度的克城当代中文学校中文演讲比赛于5月31日下午在Solon高中大礼堂热烈举行，近百名青少年参加了6个分组的比赛，其中多位非华裔的孩子也在比赛中大显身手。参赛选手们都是在班级初选中的获胜者，他们之中既有四、五岁的幼儿园小朋友，也有十六、七岁的高中生。演讲或朗诵题材包括散文、故事、诗歌或笑话，有的孩子演讲的是自己亲笔写出的文章。(晓月摄影报道)

Columbus Asian Festival
Saturday, May 24, 2008 the dance
students from Liang, Hua and Zhang,
Linyun's classes performed 4 dances on
Columbus Asian Festival. Their amazing
performance drew a big crowd.
After the performance the girls setup
a donation stand for Sichuang earthquake
victims.

Relay For Life. It's all about HOPE.
On April 26, 2008 Saturday afternoon the Cleveland
Contemporary Chinese Culture dance students performed at
John Carroll University for the American Cancer Society "Relay
For Life".

4月5日为该组织在俄州里斯本的区年会上演奏. 受到与会者的热烈欢迎.

 CCCCA 2008 Chinese New Year Celebration
(晓月报道）2月9日，克里夫兰当代中文学校在Solon中学隆重举办了2008年春节联欢晚会。学校老师、同学、家长及来宾共1500多人参加了本次活动，成为近年来在克里夫兰华人活动中规模最大的一次盛会。会上，学校向参加2007年全美青少年中文作文大赛，并在学校选送的作文中获奖的同学颁发了奖杯，同时，分别为优秀教师及获得学校5年、10年服务奖的获奖人员等颁发了奖杯。在近3个小时的文艺演出中，学生们用他们精彩的表演展示了他们在中文学校取得的成绩，校领导、教师及很多非华裔学生的家长也和孩子们一起参加了演出。更多>>>

Day

first PACS Table Tennis Tournament
was successfully
completed on December 15, 2007. Everybody had a great
time in the tournament. Mrs. Yingchun Han
won the championship in the women's group and
Mr. Sanford Potker gained the men's
trophy. Congratulations!

1. while most classrooms on duty parents
doing well
job, we do have a few classrooms with
dirty desk,
including Rms. 106, 120, 122, and 129.
Teachers and
parents using these 4 rooms need to
clean them after
5:00pm.
2. Please be noted that soccer is not
allowed in any
gym, for the safety of people and the
property.
3. Chinese School Association in the US
will organize a
summer camp.
When: 7/20/08 ¨C 8/3/08
Where: Shenzhen, Guangdong Province,
China
Fee: It is free once you arrive in
Shenzhen
Participants: Chinese School Students
all over the world.
Total number of students and teachers in
the camp: >5000.
Estimated number of students from US:
>400. CCCCA will organize a team to
participate this camp as we did in 2007.
If you are considering to let your kids
participate in this event, please arrange your time in
next summer.
